Does being a feminine male causes npc mobs around you to be more hostile? I started hrt a while ago, and I still boymode, but I have noticed that men (especially from migrant backgrounds) are more hostile to me. I have long hair and a slim build, I malefailed once or twice, but everyone views me as a dude, so I dont pass yet. I was just on a metro, and a dude in a hoodie (migrant ofc) bumped into me hard while he was walking across. He had space to not bump into me, but he did and said nothing. It just feels different than pre-hrt when I was left alone. Will it get better with girlmoding?

where are you from?

yeah, mostly because NPCs associate men with security. seeing a man who shirks masculinity makes them do a double-take to make sure they aren't in danger
you can defy their expectations with a concealed weapon

You are entering the zone of negative androgyny (the absence of gendered features). Unlike positive androgyny (the presence of multiple conflicting gendered features), negative androgyny will not get you very much outright hostility, but people still won't respect you. I think they subconsciously try to categorize everyone as either male or female, and when they fail to assign you to a category, they fail to recognize you as a person entirely. Bad NPC coding.
