Would transitioning help me get a better job?
>>43836552flat answer is no. 60c to cis mens dollar
>>43836552Opposite, it's harder to find jobs as a trans woman than it is while cis. Kate worked in media companies way before she ever transitioned, the only way to actually be successful and rich as a trans woman is to be a rich man and then transition once you have plenty of money.Women like Kate are extremely rare because it's almost unheard of for trans women to hold higher positions in companies.
>>43836552Not if u don’t have the tranny super genius type of autism
>>43836552if you pass it could but that's rare and if you're asking here you're at least 18 already so you'll probably be at least clocky. even if you manage to stealth then you'll spend the rest of your life stressed out about being outed because it would ruin your career, opens you to blackmail too.
>>43836584unfortunately true.. i used to have a job that payed like 35 an hour before transitioning but quit during boymoding crisis and now it’s impossible for me to make more than 20 an hour
>>43836552most of the women at my corporate job are workers. 80% of the executives are cis straight white men. similar with SVPs, directors, and a lot of senior managers i know of.
>>43836552i maybe would have like 10 years ago in very specific woke fields but dei is cooked and everyone hates trannies now
>>43836552Kek. Transitioning is basically never the optimal way to improve your conditions in any way, other than making the body more compatible with a fucked up brain
>>43836552No. 40% of trans women are unemployed, which compared to the 17% average of LGBTQ
>>43838798This isn't actually true. The DEI hiring never went to transsexuals, it went to theyfabs and genderqueers normies who knew the right language for the corpos to tick boxes.
>>43839503I'd argue that the wealth/privilege gap within the transfem demographic is greater than for all othersthe more passing/pretty/rich you are born the easier it is to become even more passing/pretty/rich and it just fuels itself while if you're les passing/pretty/rich you have to pay even more for basics while having less money and it spirals
>>43839514this is 100% trueevery single time I go to any LGBTQ+ event or community it's ALL AFABs who are lesbian, bi, perhaps queer at times, etcwhen 99% of people (especially allies) say queer they mean queer AFABs of any sort which includes straight women who like hanging out with twinks
>>43839540The answer there is to stop going to LGBTQ events btw. The idea that there is some sort of injustice there is fiction, the queer club is for queers, why are you in the queer club if you're just a woman?
>>43839606well to be fair the only real queer place I went to is a hair salon that focuses on queer styles and being like super inclusive and I was the single AMAB person there every time I went, not a single employee nor any of the clients were AMAB, there were def theyfabs but it was almost all cis womenbut to be fair they were all incredibly kind and all that but it just feels very bad because whenever I'm in a place like that I feel like what they really mean is AFABs are the only people welcome while I, a weak little silly AMAB, is tolerated for the sake of optics
