>>43837282i'm not an ffs passoid but ive been to china a few times in the past couple yrs to visit my family and i didn't have any problems with anyone, but i also just stick to manmoding for any official or family stuff as a rule bc it's more convenient for me so idk how helpful that is. i invariably got gendered female and called meinü by strangers which might be bc chinese ppl especially in smaller cities & more rural areas that don't get a lot of foreigners don't know how to clock me, i still used the men's room though which would occasionally get me weird looks but nothing beyond that. if you're more of a passoid than me which seems likely you could probably just stealth the entire time and not have to think about itregion wise i've only been to sichuan recently, & chengdu kind of has a reputation for being really gay but i don't think the rest of the province is particularly notable in terms of acceptance relative to the rest of the country. someday i'll go on a big trip to see every province but that's a long way off for now....
