I might just be retarded, but why do people choose to act under feminine mannerisms? Why is there an entire market for feminine, or even masculine beauty products? I get that corporations want money but surely we as a species can't be so dumb as to continue down this path? Like, in pre-historic times sexes were put in distinct roles under the premise of "man strong, woman weak", but that isn't really all too relevant in modern society. As soon as humans could speak rather than grunt, I feel like "man strong woman weak" turned into people creating culture that revolves around that idea. "Embrace what makes you a man. Embrace what makes you a woman". But of course, part of what female culture became was how women could appeal to men." Be submissive. Be beautiful. Dress this way. Act this way". I just don't see the benefit to behaving feminine nowadays. Butch women and some younger women seem to have escaped the matrix we've created (although some take it too far; equality is the aim here). And I'm not saying every stereotypical feminine trait is useless. But what I do think is that we really should start behaving more unified as a species. Imagine how the world would be if there was never any more sex-related discourse. Better yet, imagine a world where there isn't any identity-related discourse at all between humans.

the whole Matriarchy is a psyop to keep people docile and enslaved, and castrating the ones who are gender non conforming is a big part of that

appearance doesn't matter at all, you cannot take it with you

Gender roles (not just femininity, all gender norms) are enforced by social pressures (and if that's not enough, law) and are 'encoded' in tradition going way back. From early age children are taught to conform to a set of gender roles through various ways (via observation, via direct instructions, via social pressures i.e. bullying, etc.).
>Like, in pre-historic times sexes were put in distinct roles under the premise of "man strong, woman weak"
This is not even fully true, 'ooga, booga, man strong, woman weak' is kind of an ahistorical projection of the current view of gender onto pre-historic human groupings. In these pre-historic societies, gender roles were varied (across different societies) and many of these early human societies were actually matriarchal, but in any case would seem very strange looking at them from the modern perspective - e.g. monogamy is a relatively recent invention, back then group 'marriage' was more common, the thinking around what family is was completely different then. My point is that care should be taken projecting our current societal concepts onto distant past.

I agree, but it's an inherent feature of the ruling ideology of the current social system (capitalism) and also (though a bit different in form) of the ruling ideology of social systems past (such as feudalism, Christianity largely being its ideology in Europe).
The insidious thing about ideology in general is that it makes people to perceive historically-determined social categories (in this case, gender categories) as eternal truths or unchanging laws of nature.

men literally won't wash themselves unless they have MAN written on the soap because they're scared of being feminine

Gender roles increased as society became "modernized." Pre-historic women were far less feminine. Societies need to subjugate women and force them to breed to be competitive with other ones economically, militarily, etc. And all of society is built on the basis of agriculture and breeding children. "Modernity" doesn't disfavor gender roles, it relies on them.
