That's the thing about being in a hole, eventually you get sick of being in it and you climb out.

Which I think is what I'm actually asking, is this a hole I need to climb out of? Or is this just functioning as normal?

Because I've put MASSIVE effort into overcoming my issues with women. I'm talking therapy, peer support, exposure therapy, all of it. There was a LOT of trauma there, male socialization, history of bullying, abusive mother, sexually assulted as a child by my aunt, most of the problems I've faced as an neurodivergent person interacting with neurotypical society has involved women.

So I've been working on the assumption that most of my feelings about women were trauma informed. And I really put the effort in to dealing with that trauma and finding my way back to mental health. But I feel like I've done that work and this isn't misogyny, and it isn't gynophobia, I just don't really like women.

All I'm really saying now is that you, as someone who doesn't pass, can't really say that you know women are privileged above men and say it's something that all people who've been on both sides of the gender divide would know, when you yourself are not one of those people. I would disagree that it's even true.

What else can I say but This is all Valid. I'm not going to tell you how should feel about it, if it feels like a hole then it is. My advice just take a break from all of this not even contemplating, don't make any plans to change any your goals, needs, wants. and just focus on YOURSELF for a bit. so that if it comes up again you'll be better equipped to deal wit. And those three years aer something you should be proud of cause you literally fought to be where you are now desu
