how do you feel about birthdays, anon?are they usually fun (or at least pleasant) for you?or do you tend to get the birthday blues? if so, why?have you celebrated yours yet, this year? or is it still to come?answer as many of the above as you like, if you like
I haven't celebrated my birthday except by getting drunk and crying alone in 5 or 6 years I hate it and it looks like it's gonna be another one of those years
>>43852924i'm sorry to hear that anon. that's about how it typically goes for me, too. (if you somehow hadn't guessed, this thread is largely inspired by my own impending lousy birthday)i've gotta say your mention of alcohol worries me a bit. i mean i get it, but please don't overdo it, ok?
>>43852922im going to die soon in the grand scheme im not looking after myself its another day I spend alone with my thoughts and the voices of two friends who ill never see again due to being deemed unworthy
>>43853809>im going to die soonwhy?
>>43852922every year it feels worse, more depressing, lonelier and closer to 30's I hate it
>>43852922I hate my birthday. every year I get older but I live the same life
>>43852922the older you get the less meaning they have and the more painful it is to acknowledgeif you're in your early 20's enjoy them (birthdays) while you can, once everyone settles into adult life it becomes a chore to save face over a celebration of your life, eventually people drift away and it becomes vapid text messages, then nothingit's why parents make big deals over their kids' birthdays, so they may live vicariously through their children, who then experience the same and do the same creating a cycle of lost expectations
