I don't know what to call it, mentally it reads to me as 'church girl outfit' because its what I wear to church. Modest? Idk.

I want to start wearing this more on the regular, but I need a name and process to properly fixate it.

I wish I could dress like this but I can't put on a long skirt without crying, because I was forced to put one on in sixth grade for a school play. They had me play the role of the strict female teacher because I had long hair. All the girls in my class begged me to let them do my makeup. There was nothing particularly offensive about that day, but whenever I put on a long skirt I feel like a little boy again.

shoes are mary janes, socks are going to be stockings, pantyhose works as well as would calf socks, skirt would be a "maxi skirt" (side note i would add rustic or farmhouse as an adjective to get the muted colors on online searches)
on pinterest to get similar vibes for inspiration "mormon chic" "farmhouse womens style" "modest girl summer." dark academia might also have some results but i think it tends towards a more general aesthetic than clothing quite often.

if you are in the usa, thrifting for this should be incredibly easy especially in the midwest and south regions, especially especially in small towns. my local goodwill is flooded with church clothes like this on the regular. you should be able to get good results from depop the world around, but i dont know how depop shipping works outside the usa.
