To characterize PCOS as inherently masculinizing or "intersex" by default is erroneous. Most "intersex conditions" are those found under the "disorder of sex development" category. PCOS is an endocrine disorder, not a sex development disorder (as there is no doubt that the sex of people with PCOS is female).
