Not trans, male transvetite. But similar advice applies. Don't shop at the "mtf place", shop where women shop.

Don't dress like a stereotype of a woman and don't do whatever the trans equivalent is of being an amazon basics femboy. Ask your female family where they get their clothes and go there. For me, it tends to be Myer and Shein.

Get ready because it's fucking expensive. When people say to go to the Salvo's (Or equivalent), they mean that because they assume you can't afford the real thing (Most people can't). It's well meant advice but people tend to give away shit they don't want and you end up looking like a Salvo's tramp.

Women's clothing is horribly overpriced, but sometimes I can't be mad because the fabric is actually really good. It can be hard to tell good from better, but when you buy cheap plastic polyester shit with that horrible sheen like a tarp everybody can tell.

What traits are you most self conscious about? Like all fashion with all people, figure out your least attractive traits then cover them up. I have gigantic shoulders so I wear very upper torso-heavy coats and parkas that I can bow out at the hips to maintain the shoulder:hip ratio.

My experience mostly comes from borderline fetish drag queen stuff, but it could help.

shop online (not amazon try aliexpress) or find a good store that sells fast fashion at least when youre starting out to avoid the amazon skirt bad style phase. also go on pinterest or tiktok and search up any style u want to see what other girls are wearing

high waisted skirts. this also helps create the illusion of a better hip/waist ratio

I had this problem for a while when I gained weight. I was still wearing a lot of skintight clothing and cropped tops, and lemme tell you that the bodysuit or corset is going to give before your stomach does, and nobody wants to see anyone in a crop top unless that stomach is flat. Same with shoulders. I don't get why trans people always go for that one style of puffy sleeveless blouse when it always makes them look frumpy.

That other anon had the right idea with high waisted skirt, but I would probably pair it with a parka or longcoat with a waist belt. Some might also suggest a long fleece sweater.

One of the best clothing investments I've ever made was a Czech M85 field parka. I've been wearing it almost a decade now. Not just a good jacket but also quite fashionable, and I was tightening that thing like a corset long before I turned into a massive homo. I guess going for a field parka or a coat or something like that depends on your style, but for the love of god don't do a trenchcoat because you have a 95% chance of looking like that doorbell chud with a 5% margin of error for looking like the Postal Dude.

this is what I had in mind when I was talking about the trans equivalent of an Amazon basics femboy. Any store that tries to sell "trans clothes" or "femboy clothes" should be immediate red flag. Normal people refer to these as women's clothes, and they sell them at shops that aren't flanked by fetish porn ads.

cheap, ethical, fun loot box type hunting
you know we at the charity shops

Well 2 of the 3 sites I listed sell clothes specifically for sex workers
>>
>>43869527
cis women are the number one consumers of hot topic, what the fuck are you talking about?
>>
>>43869577
Everybody I've seen wearing that stuff look like people mimicking a stereotype of a woman. They all look the same and that look is very silly, just like Amazon basics femboys and their Taobao thigh highs.

There's nothing wrong with just dressing like a normal person, anon. People are more likely to treat you like a freak if you dress like one. Is bringing more unwelcome attention to OP's appearance really what they want?

yeah youre retarded lol
