Desu nhs care for trans youth hasn’t existed for several years. Back when I was younger and wanted to go on blockers the nhs wait time was about 5 years meaning I would be an adult having already gone through the irreversible hell that is male puberty. While this is obviously much worse, the current situation has remained consistent with the fact that transition under the NHS is impossible unless you are happy to let testosterone or estrogen if your transmasc mutilate your body during the wait. Once you get to 18, you may be lucky and have access to a trans friendly GP who are genuinely the best but there really aren’t many of them. We have had years to get organised but it is not enough. The government will soon announce policy which will force tech companies to gatekeep DIY for under 16 under the disguise of protecting children as part of the ban on social media for under 16s. I agree that we need to do more to.
I've helped ppl w/ diy, some who may or may not have been minors (who knows! It's da internet :p )over the past few months, some in the UK. Don't care I'd rather prevent anymore John 50 optic nukes and miserable twinkhons who can only think about what could've been
