Why do AGPhons never read books?

(No, Warhammer/Video Game Adaptions/Manga/Light Novels/YAslop don't count.)

Gay men read. HSTS trannies read. Lesbians read. But cishet men and AGPs seem only interested in video games and anime adjacent things. Why?
>>
I've been reading stephen king and self-help books because I'm malebrained
>>
also blanchard is a fraud
>>
Hsts don't read more than transbians, idk where you got that notion

Reading list:
>Andy Weir, Project Hail Mary
Just finished:
>Margaret Atwood, Oryx and Crake
>Baoshu, The Redemption of Time
Currently reading:
>Armstrong Sperry, Call it Courage
Up next:
>Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince
>Conn and Hal Iggulden, The Dangerous Book for Boys
>Ángela Posada-Swafford, Detectives del ADN
I like re-reading books that I liked when I was a kid or teen, it’s nostalgic for me. “Detectives del ADN” is a book I found in my parents’ house today; I guess they must’ve bought it for me and I never read it. Gonna read it to try to restore my literacy in Spanish (my native language).

Tip's fate at the end of the second book mirrors the current political climate far too well, forced to detransition for the benefit of the state

I hate how reading has become more elitist in recent years. I find Limbus players who read are usually the worst if you don't read the 12 specific classics that underpin their auto-win-to-victory clicker game.

The reading community can be bizarrely contrarian too. I have a shelf at home with controversial works for their era. It has books like pro-Tom and anti-Tom literature, American Psycho (sold shrink wrapped), and Mein Kampf, and some book reader idiot tried to claim that nothing on the shelf was controversial. Describing what you're reading online half feels like you're inviting some low functioning autistic 19 year old to try arguing for argument's sake. People get legitimately turned off from reading because how how elitist readers can be.

All book reading is good reading.

Contrarianism is low IQ behaviour

>What did you think of The Redemption of Time?
I enjoyed it, but it wasn’t as good as Liu Cixin’s trilogy. Also I thought that revealing that Sophon was visually identical to Ran Asakawa was coarse.
What I did like about it: the pathos of Yun Tianming, the cosmology.

im too busy bedrotting and masturbating to read. i used to read and want to, but since some years ago i just can't focus on it anymore, i wish i didnt get retarded and hope theres a cure
