this is a mean threadtrans people are constantly encouraged to hate themselves and feel like some sort of impostor for inhabiting their actual sex/gender instead of their birth sex. for many 'early transition' is defined by deep insecurities that they might not measure up in some way. insecurities breed cringe in any one and so insecurities about ones sex leads to cringe posturing. this is not exclusive to trans people and insecure men and women (especially when young) do very similar things. you just hate it when trans people do because its more obvious and visible, and because you hate transition.find me a boy, insecure in his masculinity, who wouldn't feel proud of himself if his dad asked him to help bbq something or whatever. its the same thing just expressed through the language of embarrassing trans weirdness.
