Especially since a lot of the posts and threads on other boards can be pretty problematic, like saying slurs and shit.Do you consider this board to be a safe space compared to the rest of 4chan, or the entire internet as a whole (such as sites like Bluesky, Reddit, etc), and if so, how so?

the other boards with the problematic stuff are mostly edgy teenagers who think what theyre posting is funny. i dont really think of this as a safe space so much as them as containment spaces

The only place to have anonymous discussion. It's gone down hill a looooot tho. I've found that 4chan, and the internet as a whole is a lot less edgy than before. Like nowadays I feel bad if I shitpost "kill yourself faggot" but back in the day that was just some silly stuff you could say without anyone taking you seriously.
