Today I (mtf) was at the salon getting Japanese thermal reconditioning. The hairdressing doing my straightening treatment was the only man at the salon. When he stepped out to grab the chemicals for the next part of my straightening treatment, the female hairdresser and customer right next to me started talking about how they think women are superior to men. But they gave my hairstylist a pass, cause they thought he was cool.
unrelated but how was your thermal reconditioning process? ive been trying to do it at home but i get like no results and it all washes away within a month or two :( im on like my 4th attempt
>>43903035It was best the first time I got it done. My hair was so straight and smooth, it was amazing. Given what I know about how the process works, I think trying it on yourself would not really work.
>>43902447>thermal reconditioningWhat is this?
>>43903035not op but doin a japanese straightenin by yourself is insanely difficulttechnically is possible but even then not recomendedprofesionals already take like 3 hours just to do it>>43903062japanese straightenin is so amazin. I cant stand havin curly hair, idk I just love straight hair so much, so much more comfy and easy to manage too... I think Ill get them for life >>43903078is a type of hair straightening that is literally permanent (if done correctly)takes average 3 hours, is not done everywhere because is not that common on the west but it is amazing, it is common in japan hence the name, since the beauty standard there is pin straight hairmost places do keratin treatments which are not permanent or other typesif you want to get one make sure to ask if they do "japanese straightening" and make sure to ask if its the one where your hair becomes fully straight foreversome hairdressers dont know much or will not even know how it really works, I had to call many places before finding one where they did it, and I got people saying that they did it, only to say no after a few more questionsif you want to get one make sure you go somewhere they do them often, and nicelyor u will most likely get overcharged or scammed. i find a place 1 hour away that does them for 200€ which is so nice but prices vary a lotUsually you want to get one every 3-6 months depending how fast your hair grows(you just want to get it done but for your new hair growth)also if you want ur hair straightened just and only get the japanese, is just so much more worth it
diabolical that we're teaching people with the most beautiful hair that they should look like flat lifeless porcelain figurines. the fall of rome has had disastrous consequences for the curly hair'd race
>>43905039hair texture that>tangles x5 times more>requires effort to not look homeless>requires effort everytime you wake up>feels so disgusting at the sensory levelcurly hair ppl saying they love curly hair is just the same level of copium of nationalist saying their country is the best in the world and I will die on this hill
>>43905076>requires effort to not look homeless>requires effort everytime you wake uphuh? i dont do anything
