Here's what I think of you trans people -You are intrinsically your born sex with this biologically wired association: that the opposite sex is inherently alien to you.If you are male, females are alien. if you are female, males are alien. Your brains conceives of this and therefore neurally places your opposite sex as "Othered." - as in it is something you are not. It is beyond your signifying order, as Jaques Lacan puts it.Now, I think trans people do not want to purely become men, women, non-binary, rather seek to actualize as THEIR Other. This is large part due to an anxiety within your psychoanalytical interaction with The Other. This is where castration anxiety comes from in males. Some males seek to "conquer" the castration anxiety by outright embracing the Other which to them is "woman." This is one example of how a male takes on transexuality as a mechanism to alleviate the stresses with his own interaction with The Other. The same is applied with females as well but why we see more men transition is because women, feminity, etc. is more viciously Othered. The intensity of their Othering by way of our violent patriarchal systems make it so that males are more predisposed to alleviate their anxiety of this Othering of their opposite sex via transexuality than females as the opposite sex for females, males, are not as Othered as females within the female psyche. Therefore, you seek to embody The Other because you're psychoanalytical subconscious interaction with it produces more fear in you than the average human and you have consciously decided to rid yourself of this fear by "becoming" this fear, by transitioning into a man, into a woman, etc. However, most importantly, this does not absolve you. Even though you may feel less fear (conflated as gender euphoria and dysphoria, it really just is the byproduct of a rabid subconscious), but you still must slay the dragon.Sex change doesn't kill your Other, you trannies!
