Do you think effeminate gay men are doing "that voice" on purpose?
>>43914423no, but I get a slight faggot voice if I talk fast.>22 yo virgin autistic man moder
>>43914423Yes
I don't know. I suspect my ex bf had it because he didn't have a dad and picked up on his mom's speech patterns. But his sister talked like a dyke so idfk. Weird family I hope he's destitute rn.
>>43914431Do you think straight trans women are using a female voice on purpose?
>>43914423yeah but i also think straight men r doing their voice on purpose, noones voice is that deep lols>>43914423cute image
>>43914423Yes. They are emulating women for whatever reason, usually rooted within a highly sexist environment and upbringing. You aren't just born with gay voice. It's a character. It's also why most of them end up transitioning eventually or heavily lean into crossdressing. A majority of the trans women with dysphoria I knew didn't have gay voice but usually a more neutral or softly spoken way of talking.
>nose constantly clogged from allergies and/or the cold>just a bit of dust can clog it upEven when it's not clogged for once, I speak nasally out of habit, so I kind of always do the voice at least a bit.I just wish the allergy symptoms weren't reducing my already low qol.
>>43914455But women are born doing that voice and are not emulating other women?
>>43914472Kinda but not often to the more flamboyant levels. Usually it's an accessory no different than wearing a I love cock tshirt. Women can just advertise by being women. Super gay has to be loud and proud to let people know, this queen likes men banging at their ass. You'd be hard pressed to find cis women who speak like that outside of very very niche subgroups. Also this isn't a strict rule. There are flamboyant men out there who are very straight or at most bi.
>>43914504>Super gay has to be loud and proud to let people knowAre you saying subtly feminine gay men don't exist?
>>43914512Not at all. Stereotypes are just that. There are also those who are more closeted about their behaviors for whatever reason. Bro voice and at the gay bar voice.
>>43914504>You'd be hard pressed to find cis women who speak like that outside of very very niche subgroupsI dunno I've heard women who sound like that I just think you don't notice because they look female. Seems like overall your message is just that femininity is fake when men do it.
>>43914423if you know a gay guy irl, ask his attractive friends if he does the voice and then ask his unattractive friends tooyou will see they only do that voice in front of the former
>>43914542Nope. And femininity isn't a monolith either which is why I made sure to phrase it as flamboyant. Also just because someone is gay doesn't mean they have any interest in femininity, nor should people assume those who picked up certain speech patterns from time spent around women are homosexuals or trans. Leave that for the homophobes
>>43914570>Super gay has to be loud and proud to let people know
>>43914423im not doing a voice i just sound like this
i wish i didnt
>>43914423It's artificial and done for attention, but gay men are too stupid to realize why they're doing it, so it's not on purpose. They just think it's part of their "authentic" selves and makes them happy because of thatt. knower
>>43914616>It's artificial and done for attentionwhat about how straight trans women talk? Is that artificial and done for attention?
>>43914616Some are very much doing it on purpose and when you're just trying to relax with them, it can be a bit frustrating. It's like, Bitch. Relax. Drop the reverse guard a bit. I know you're gay. Everyone here knows you're gay. I will still put your nuts in a vice later and you can moan pretty for me.
>>43914618Naturally, they're the same demographic after all.
>>43914628So much this. I knew a trans girl who was very bubbly at first to help sell it but the more we talked and the more she dropped her guard the more her natural girl voice came out. Not a boy voice or whatever but her voice. It was like finally getting to meet the real her and that authenticity was so attractive to me. That's what a lot of incels don't get about most women. There is the public version they practice their whole life being to appeal to social, and often sexist standards expected of them, and then there is the real version few are lucky enough to know.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gay_male_speechHere you go, faggotMay it help you understand yourself
>>43914455>>43914441there are straight men who are soft spoken
>>43914423Sometimes they actually do.
>>43914703wow thanx
it's just how they talk. stems for being socialized with women.
>>43915562would flamers talk like masculine men if they were not at all socialized around women?
>>43914455Gay voice does not = women voice. How have you not watched this yet? https://youtu.be/SF7KCsvcw2g
>>43915953most people are npcs and just repeat the lineswhat strikes me most is that most people are totally programmed to be against being willing to admit a man could exist who was natively, genuinely, genetically feminized and feminine, but closer to male than female. The mere concept makes people's heads explode. Men are not allowed to own or enjoy femininity and are taught to view it as a fake performance if they notice it in themselves (and thus to suppress it).
i like guys who have gay voice. but at the same time i get extremely turned off by flamers who overdo their voice inflections to be annoying on purpose (they are ALL annoying, there isn't a single flamer in existence that isn't annoying).flamers do it on purpose because they enjoy irritating people in public who are forced to hear their bullshit. i hate being associated with these freaks and fr, i wish they'd all just disappear along with that ru paul brainrot. when people think of gay voice, they automatically think of flamers, and that is 100% incorrect.gay voice is involuntary, it is pretty much a natural trait found in homosexuals.there are plenty of normal guys with gay voice who are nothing like flamers (like polar opposites really). those are the kinds of dudes i am usually attracted to.
>>43914423absolutely>>43914440I wouldn't know, never heard any tranny that sounded like a woman. They do make that nails-on-chalkboard throat clenching voice on purpose though which is very puzzling to me it sounds unbelievably painful I'm just glad games have mute options nowadays
>>43916282or shit maybe I have, I guess I wouldn't really know if they're doing it properly
>>43916282>never heard any tranny that sounded like a womanwhat about ava?
>>43916894Imma be real with you Anon I'm just a tourist and I can name maybe seven lgbt people all together and none of them are named Ava
In my experience growing up around some closet fags.. it's not an act, it's literal just how they are
>>43914423what about niggers?
>>43916988>>43916894oh no actually I do know one Ava, but I doubt it's the same one
>>43916999australian?
>>43917071No, I know even fewer australians than lgbt's
>>43914455>A majority of the trans women with dysphoria I knew didn't have gay voiceAntiHSTS dogwhistle
so who's Ava I'm kinda curious to hear the voice now
>>43916988actually got me wondering how many famous ones I can come up with>Sir Ian McKellen>Tim Cain>David Bowie>Gillian Anderson, I think she qualifies>Burger Becky>Freddie Mercury>Hunter Schafer>Elon's kid>Kim Petras>Chris Chan, debatably>The autistic man in love with Chris Chan>The gay principal that molested Chris Chan>The communist tranny Chris Chan had a beef with>The guy thay voiced Karl in Simpsons and Delilah>John Waters>This one figure skater from my country>Ricky Martin>That one old hollywood actor who came out and wasn't allowed to act anymore that then became a very successful interior decorator>Rimbaud>Verlain>(You), the readerI'm absolutely forgetting some people but I'm going to strain myself from thinking too hard
