When it comes to the more common ftm detrans, I would argue that gender dysphoria and sex dysphoria are different conditions. Gender dysphoria being similar to an eating dysphoria and sex dysphoria being an actual mental illness (with cures). The reason so many women detrans is because practicing feminine stuff is unbearable and terrible and they can easily see transitioning as an out even if its not for them. They can be a female without the horrific standards that being feminine comes with. As a trans woman I noticed this so much especially as I realized how much I hated it myself.
