Capitalism is a destructive system that pits capital owners against the proletariat. The relationship between the two can never be equal, as private ownership of capital forcibly extracts surplus value for profits and does so with great violence as Marx pointed out in the formation of capital with the enclosure of the commons. To function, capitalism needs to grow and generate more profit. To do so, it increases the oppression of workers and infinitely seeks new resources. Once it has exhausted all the resources in the nation-state, capitalism turns to outside of the state. Therefore, war is a continuation of the violence of capitalism directed outwards in search for more resources. Capitalism, imperialism, and colonialism are inextricably linked. Imperialism and colonialism are manifestations of when capitalism has outgrown its borders.

Take a look at the colonial trade between a metropole and its colony. It is unfree trade where the terms are dictated by the mother country and the gains only profit the colonial power. The metropole dictates a monopoly of trade with the colony, the metropole obtains a market for its manufactured goods(higher industries) in exchange for cheap primary resources, and the colony can never develop its industries.

When PM Mossadegh nationalized Iranian oil, Britain felt its colonial grip slip away and its economic pillaging and influence falter too. (Note: although Western liberal propaganda promotes the idea that colonialism died after WWI, it is still very much alive today and practiced by Western countries) A joint CIA and MI6 operation removed Mossadegh to install a dictatorship resting on a surveillance state operated by the secret police. The Islamic revolution freed Iran from Western control.

This current war was planned for a long time to restore Iran as a colonial subject state. The US invades oil producing countries that are not obedient vassals to secure energy resources for its voracious economy.

Refugees

More recently, imperialist wars create refugee crisis. All recent migration patterns can be traced back to NATO interventions. Capitalism has also exhausted the labour resources in the home country by transforming the societal unit from the family to the individual for profit(women can now work to churn out profit too). Fragmenting the family led to a decrease in the fertility rate. In addition, colonialism imported cheap labour(such as subjects from South Asia in Britain) for entry-level work. Thus, native populations were not needed anymore for these strenuous jobs and there no need to produce more population to work those jobs. Colonial powers are now faced with a declining birth rate and a demographic crisis. In this way, capitalism is nailing its own coffin, it prepares its own demise as there are simply no more workers to work! But as we have seen, capitalism turns outwards for resources. By destroying other countries, capitalism can take advantage of refugees to work entry-level jobs and repopulate the country. This is the real replacement theory of white countries.

This was first experienced by the US as part of the first colonial project of Britain: Ireland. Britain colonized Ireland by committing a genocide, something it would later do in all of its colonial projects. Ireland was the test and provided the blueprint. Irish refugees went to the US were they were greatly appreciated by US capitalists. As the US was then a developing economy, Britain mainly forced the displacement of intellectuals to the US rather than entry-level workers. The US later perfected this stratagem in Cuba. In addition, it found out that it could alter the political demographic of the country by importing refugees loyal to the US regime and that would fight its imperialist wars for them. It outsourced the overthrow of the Castro government in Cuba to the Cuban refugees.
So bottom line is that destabilizing Iran also provides labour for the US in refugees.
