I was forbidden from medically transitioning. They would check my room regularly to ensure I wasn't doing DIY. I just finished my Bachelor's and I'm nearing a year on HRT. I was tortured for years because my family thought I should have to wait until I'm an adult. Now the damage is already done and I will suffer for the rest of my life because of the male puberty and dimorphic development I was forced to endure. I could have 6 years of progress and have averted so many surgical procedures and immutable changes that I'm now staring down. The financial and physical burden is exhausting.
