I have to do it eventually and it seems extremely painful (similar to if you removed bane's mask)
They're moderately conservative but they'll be understanding, I recognize how lucky I am for that to be my circumstance
I don't really know what I'm looking for with posting this just any advice regarding timing or delivery or encouragement I dunno

genuinely anon, if you don't have to, then you can simply choose not to, I've been on hormones for years and my parents don't know

>I have to do it eventually and it seems extremely painful
you're a big guy
>>
>>43930191
don't, just let them figure it out on their own
>>
>>43930205
I've been considering this. It has been feeling less practical lately I want to have an authentic relationship with them but maybe this would be for the best
I've been taking care of everything privately so far but they can tell something is up, it's honestly my fault for not being more self-disciplined with my work to the extent that they can tell

4 me
>>43930217
I might
>>
>>43930191
Depends on if you're still dependent on them or not.
>>
>>43930191
idk, i just didnt and i wasted 10 years watching my body masculinize in the mirror while i did nothing. then i got on hrt without telling them but it was too late. im a pathetic coward
>>
>>43930191
I avoided talking to my dad for a year cause I changed my voice , my mom knew and I sent pictures to my dad after a while of me in full honmode.

Said I “was a woman”

Hasn’t said a word to me since. .
>>
>>43930191
assuming you're a tranny, don't. it can make it much harder to diy
>>
Just YOLO and tell them. Start living. I'm not making fun of you.
>>
>>43931741
how
>>
>>43932175
if you mean how can it make it harder to diy, conservacuck parents will flip out and try to stop you transitioning in any way, even socially, and non-conservacucks will have a clue as to what you're ordering online and flip out about that anyway because internet needles bad. it's just not worth it. getting on hrt asap should be your top priority.
>>
>>43932202
ah yeah i guess. i just assume for OP "eventually" is a pretty long timeline.

my plan is to just manmode indefinitely around them, and they will in turn not acknowledge anything
>>
>>43930191
Best case scenario would be to come out in like 10 years as a fully stealth 100% passing woman and watch as they seethe super hard and accidentally use correct pronouns (I daydream about this frequently)

In reality I'll try and make sure they just never know and if they find out I'll kms out of shame
>>
>>43930191
Me too because I live with them and my reissued ID's are coming soon
>>
>>43930191
"Hello parent, I am X now. Please refer to me as such."
Make it seem nonchalant and logical
>>
>>43932202
It's not hard to hide that shit unless your parents are just totally schizo hitler. Buy the needles at a local pharmacy and order diy either to a po box to someone else or to your house while making a bullshit excuse like its for your face or whatever (you can ask the suppliers to make your package stealth)
>>
I just told my parents I was seeing a guy. Easy.
>>
>>43930191
just don't tell them and manmode, I'm pretty sure my older brother has been stealth trooning because his skin got pale, and he got less hairy, looked a bit younger, and at the last family gathering he had a jacket on the whole time, and his chest had some bulk like he had a bulletproof vest on. It's funny because well, read my flag.
>>
>>43933122
>your parents are just totally schizo hitler
happens a lot!
>>
>>43930238
honestly just bite the bullet if youre safe. i knew what my parents were going to say (disowned lol) and putting it off just made me dread the situation for months when i could have cut them out of my life a lot earlier. i personally got high and called them both on the phone one night when i couldnt take it anymore. not the best way to go about things, but it worked.
if you just assume your parents will be supportive, but you dont know completely i would recommend a phone call or a letter just in case. violence is always a possibility.
godspeed.
>>
>>43933893
only do this if it wouldn't make you homeless or lose the chance to get on hrt
>>
>>43933929
true yeah ive been self sufficient for a while and have multiple friends who are in good jobs who i could ask for support if needed. if this isn't your situation, don't do it.
