When, first of all the theyfabs in question are indubitably friends with a theymab transfemby who rocks facial hair and is essentially a cd, so thats just what they percieve trans women to "be", no fault of their own (well, some fault of their own, they do little to no introspection on their and their circles conception of gender)It's literally that they are the equivalent of hons, but no one wants to make that comparison because nontransitioning transmascs whole thing is that they can't relinquish their attachments to femininity (and thus some of them are seen as conventionally attractive women, as opposed to hons who are usually not conventionally attractive as a rule). And to reiterate for myself, they are STRONGLY disincentivised from transitioning by basically every patriarchal mechanism we have in society.
Also, it's more insidious than the way that mtfs are disincentivised from transitioning, because that's mostly overt, masculinity is easy to fail at and hard to succeed at. Femininity is basically the opposite, you can't stop being a woman practically no matter what you do, it's hard to fail at and easy to succeed at femininity. So once an mtf 'drops out' of masculinity/manhood (ie; is a faggot), there's nothing really holding them back from going all the way, but there is no equivalent easy way to 'drop out' of femininity/womanhood, so its much harder to disentangle themselves from such. And requires a lot more introspection and work to do so.
