for me it's probably because I never could find underwear that fit me well for the first few years of being trans since I didn't have money to get a lot, so it'd always ride up... I think also being able to engage in sexual activity that does stimulate genital area but doesn't require them to be involved in the traditional sex way is comforting. plus the bully thing unfortunately I got harassed and assaulted too much and it rewired my brain badly :( perma bullybait forever I guess
