My sister even called me chopped cause of my shitty frizzy hair how do I fix it? I've tried many things but they just don't seem to work.
>>
Damn, if I was your sister, unless I was in a bad mood would never call you chopped. What a bitch.
>>
what have you tried? it really depends on hair texture but for me, leave in conditioner, hair masks and hairspray do the trick
>>
oh yeah if you got long hair, you should only use shampoo if your hair gets super dirty, otherwise avoid using it when you shower

This contradicts everything I know. But I haven't tried what you've suggested so I'll give it a shot

Thanks?

wash your hair 2x in a row w/ shampoo that's supposed to increase volume and then use hair balm and make sure to spread it throughout all your hair and wash them through with water for a few secs max.

works for me, i do it every other d or every 3rd day depending on the condition of my hair...
might have to do it everyday for the peak of summer tho...

When you overuse shampoo it straps your hair of its natural oils that keep it smoother and shinier and leads to frizzing. How you dry your hair also can lead to frizz as well so avoid harsh methods

if you have frizzy hair, you may have naturally curly/wavy hair youre not taking care of. here's what's helping me:
>use a gentle shampoo (lather, rinse, repeat) and target it to your scalp only
>use a high quality conditioner and use a wide toothed comb in the shower
>dont condition your scalp
>wash your hair upside down/leaning forward so the shower spray isnt hitting your crown so hard
>leave conditioner on for at least a few minutes
>only use cold (no more than lukewarm) water for rinsing your hair
>do not brush when it's dry
>do not rub your hair with a towel and avoid touching it
>sleep with a silk bonnet to avoid friction damage

I do that. I don't have hair balm or anything of the sorts unfortunately (I am poor). I tend to wash my hair twice a week at max.

Ah okay thank you

No but I'll take your advice.

have you tried a conditioning mask and leave in conditioner?

>I tend to wash my hair twice a week at max.
people keep giving this advice but I'm not buying it. if I wash it every day, it looks like shit, if I only wash it twice a week, it looks even shittier. I can only conclude that something else is the cause.

a lot of people overwash their hair and dry it out. unless youre getting sweaty and dirty and getting oil buildup, you definitely dont need to shampoo every day. conditioning every day and shampoo every few days is healthier.

you can also get your hair wet every day with either a quick rinse and not full-on wash or use a spray bottle to mist it to help manage it getting so messy

if your hair is greasy every day, then youre doing something wrong

Sex lube from the adult toy store stops frizzy hair.
