Are 17 inch shoulders really that bad for passing or am I ngmi
>>
>>43962224
Depends on your height to an extent but they're wide.

i'm shorter (5'6") and my bideltoid is 16.5" so maybe my pov is warped here. it isn't the end of the world, but it's not a good omen for passing. i got really lucky with my voice so going super into voice training may help offset it

ok hi it's me again i wanna flesh upon my post a bit more because i always remember what else i was gonna say *right* after posting lol
sooo the shoulder width being a death sentence also depends on some other stuff, like fashion and hrt results. a larger chest or wider hips can help offset your wide shoulders and you can easily dress around wide shoulders as well (although it is definitely restricting and i'm still figuring it out myself lol).

so short answer, it depends. long answer, it depends but with extra words!!

i would strongly encourage focusing on voice training in general. for one, it makes any phone call, online interaction, etc. much much easier, and you can also get through a LOT, like a surprising amount, being very mid in appearance if you sound pretty. it seems like an impossible mountain but... just know, you will sound like a faggot for a while, and it will be discouraging, but if you push yourself every single day for a year, you will see great progress; within the space of 2-3 years you can master your voice and get to a point where you voicepass very well, and i say this as someone who had a TERRIBLE masculine starting point with a very deep voice

If you came across a woman with 17in biacromial, there would be a one in 400 chance that she was cisgender.

yuppers, bidelt is the whoooooole way across!! widest point to widest point. i have a sliding closet door in my room so i use that to measure when i worm out, but it also gives me inconsistent results (meaning more hugboxy usually. ranging from 15-16.5"). i lost around 60 pounds a few years back and i didn't measure back then but it's definitely gotten a bit smaller and more proportionate since then.

I think they’re talking about bideltoid, for which 17in is pretty normal
>>
>>43962224
17" bideltoid is not bad tbhon unless you're a shortie

Its naive Bayes where the measurements are assumed to form a multivariate normal distribution. It takes your sample and computes the posterior probability of you being female. Based on ANSUR I. Some flaws:
>data was based on fit military personnel
>youre probably measuring wrong
>passing isnt strictly determined by bone structure, its important but your "Knee Height, Midpatella" isnt going to make a difference to some normie
its best for large measurements, like height and bideltoid

Also, looking back I wish I had put reduced chi2 instead of just chi2. From a glance your chi2 isn't great, I would check your measurements.

>17 inch shoulders
What's that in normal measurements?

>elderich horror male proportions
lol wtf
I think it's because my hip breadth is 45cm and my hip circumference is somewhat 118cm
>>
>>43962301
>67.5in stature, 17.5in bideltoid, 13in hips
>56% chance female
>”unlikely male proportions”
Holy hugbox

I think this tool would be a lot better if there was a direct way to control for weight/BMI

My transition has failed
