I don't care. I didn't transition for other people, I transitioned for myself. The only person whose head I'm in is my own. When I look in the mirror, I see myself as I am. When I look at my friends, I don't think of what's in their head, I think of the smile on their face.

>>43963266I've had the opposite experience. I'm out as trans to everyone I know. Most don't change how they act at all. I was hanging out with some friends from my university course (all cis). One of them, a girl, found out I was trans (it just came up in conversation, I forget how). She didn't realize before, and was surprised, but literally none of her behavior towards me changed after that, because she's a normal person. Sure, some people have been shitty, but I just ignore them. Why would I sacrifice my own happiness for someone like that? And I get that it's hard to ignore shitty people when your life is filled with them, and I'm saying this from a presumably more comfortable position than you, but still, you should try not to lose hope. Get out more, meet more people, and eventually you'll meet someone who authentically enjoys you as a person and wouldn't judge you over bullshit. And once you have one person like that, getting more is a lot easier.
