Out of these, the definitely non-butch, the manmoders, can be withdrawn. There are then butchmoders, which is butchish but not grasping the full thing, where someone WISHES really badly they were butch, and COULD get butch, but ultimately they just are not conversant with the community or lifestyle, they are just women who are prison masc, and they wish they were butch because then they could exist in a community structure that would help to uplift them, but they don’t seek it actively enough. They don’t think they are worthy, they are not persistent in finding communities that are affirming of their transness in a genuine way, or one does not exist near them. They have not found a place online to talk to butches, they have not found a femme or butch (perhaps another trans one?) who is going to expose them to daily life of a butch or femme.

I have been ma'am'd, clocked as mtf, been asked if im ftm, called butch, and assumed to be a twink. i am at a weird place where im some half-boy half-girl thing. i would like to be more fem, its just not possible with where im at right now. I've found that a lot of people have different ways of viewing me based on whether or not they assume im afab or amab. If its amab, then im a mtf tranny or a twink. If its afab, then im a ftm tranny or a butch lesbian. how odd it is to be anything at all.
