The reason people on this board love jax so much is because they are jax. Most of the people on this board are bad people. Not evil but bad due to untreated mental health issues that turn them I to runaway trains just like jax.I'm serious there are so many BPDemons on this board that need to be medicated or get some goddamn therapy. I predict the issue will get even worse due to this show enabling these people to just stay the same. "It's ok to be like this, jax is like this I don't need help accept me as I am, I'm just mental ill teehee."I'm serious this board in a year from now is going to get even more psychotic, mark my words.
>>43987186no because I get ghosted by every friend I've ever tried making irl including trans people who are supposed to understand dysphoria/dysmorphia while this character had a friend and drove them to suicide. I don't really know though because I haven't watched the finale it just keeps getting spammed everywhere. If you're a crossdresser/femboy/tranny outside of a big city you don't have a friend group lol just guys who want to take advantage of you or girls who think they're entitled to your money when you're literally unemployed for months.
>>43987186>there are so many BPDemons on this board that need to be medicated or get some goddamn therapy/girlpivgen/ is proof of this, some of those bitches need lithium and a monitored internet connection
>>43987186honestly do not get how someone looks at jax and goes "teehee, thats who I want to be!". but you are sadly right. I want to meet some Ragatha wannabes. I bet they'd be a little more stable.
>>43987186I relate to Jax a lot, and he's a character I loved since episode 1, before all of the tranny stuff, but I thought the real takeaway of finals was that sort of self isolationist, internally abusive behavior will literally kill you and the people around you. Not really something to emulate
>>43987240>Not really something to emulateThis is assuming trannies have media literacy
>>43987186I'm a b(itch)pd and I fucking hate jax
>>43987235Not so much THAT, it will be more subtle. I'm more saying that popularization of a character with this kind of mental health condition will illicit acceptance of some of Jax's behavior. But acceptance on the internet often ends up as ennabling bad habits for many people. People SHOULD loom at Jax and think "Jesus christ I need to get my shit together" but more than likely for most they will say "see its just mental health issues, you can't blame me for my actions I'm sick"
>>43987186It’s time humanity declare an existential war against BPDemons. You are no different for protecting them from Hitler. All of you must go.
>>43987387when did hitler come back i missed that
>>43987186i remember seeing him say shit like “you shouldn’t care about me” and just hard relating desu, he’s not someone you should relate to but for some it’s sadly a wake up call me included
>>43987186idk i appreciate the jaxposting but i'm mentally stable and i've never crashed out on anyone beforerealistically most of the girlies here are just sad and depressed but basically incapable of hurting anyone except by incompetence; maybe they think of themselves as nasty evil people because of self hatred and internalised transphobia but ime this is legitimately one of the softest boards on the site with some of the most caring and kindhearted people on itthe overcompensating reppers are by definition gonna be off on other boards trying to run away from their troony thoughts and won't post any differently from the average male anon2bh i think this is a case of not having clear boundaries between fiction and realityyou're seeing something in fiction that makes you uncomfortable and you're jumping to discoursing morally about your immediate environment in order to try and vent that feeling, but you don't realise that there are actual bad people in the world who are far worse and far less reflective about themselves, and next to them the people on this board don't even blip on the radar
>>43987186Jax's story is literally a cautionary tale, I don't know why someone would take it as permission to act shitty and psychotic towards other people.
>>43987186or we just like the purble bunny artworks
>>43987235People are fucking stupid. Same shit as all these sigma male characters that are relatable to teenage boys and young men. People seem to ignore that Jax is a warning. What happens when you isolate yourself from others and never let your sincere emotions be seen. A piece of shit that shouldn't be a role model to anyone. Some people excuse the fact that Jax is a dickhead because they find certain things about him relatable. Others may know that Jax is a bad person but they don't fully realise that the show is condemning him for it. They point at the fact that TADC creator, Gooseworx liked to work on him and related to Jax in some ways and immediately got upset at her because they thought that she endorses Jax's behaviour. It's really dumb. The only thing that I personally could relate to in Jax's story is the often painful struggle of being trans and also the fear of becoming a laughing stock. His personality is not charming. Also I'm still not fully sure which pronouns to use. The digital Jax was for sure a repper but the IRL Jax didn't seem to have fully transitioned either.
>>43987420>digital Jax was a reppershe, no quarter
>>43987420It's crazy how many people miss this message. Most people either just hate Jax for being an asshole without cinsidering the ongoing mental health issues or the opposite and literally me Jax. In reality neither is what's intended.
>>43987186>I predict the issue will get even worse due to this show enabling these people to just stay the sameThe show concluded with Jax losing her mind and undergoing a digital lobotomy. It's a cautionary tale about not letting internalised shame run so rampant that it'll destroy who you are and hurt those you love in the process. It also shows that those who push away love and kindness are those that need it the most. The show doesn't enable awful behaviour, it doesn't endorse being a piece of shit just by showing that behaving like one usually is rooted in awful experiences. If you want to blame anything, blame lack of media literacy and people's drive to put anything into neat and easy to digest categories for social media approval.
>>43987446/tttt/ permanently, brutally btfo
>>43987391did you miss the patchnotes? they reduced the rocket jump recoil damage as well shits fucked out there
>>43987214Obviously not everyone here is a bad person, that should be implied. Like any place there's a large variety of colorful characters on all ends of the spectrum. But there are a lot of problematic people on this board more than a lot of other places, and these people tend to echo chamber their misery making everyone even worse. The introduction of a character like Jax as a staple will likely have a lasting negative impact.
>>43987549meh
>>43987186The character is like Bojack Horseman. You're not supposed to leave it at>"omg she just like me fr"you're supposed to go:>"Oh my god. She's just like me. I'm too close to the edge. Something is wrong with how I behave and talk to myself and others. I need to make a change."
>>43987533that's why everyone hates you
Jax is meant to be a cautionary tale. I don't think anyone here literally wants to be like him since the whole point is he was a self destructive cunt that couldn't accept himself and made it everyone else's problems. His story was a big wake up call for a lot of people and its especially relevant to a lot of people on this board so I'm not surprised they are latching onto the character and what he represents to them, not as a role model or anything close to that.
>>4398763925th post best post
>>43987639I hope that's the case, but I've learned not to be optimistic about channers
>>43987186I just look literally like him, nothing more. Personally I'm different and I don't like that he's an asshole.
>>43987639The finale was the kick in the pants I needed personally. Nick of time too if the DOJ thread yesterday is any indication of the near future. Getting my es while I still can.
>>43987639the entire story is a cautionary tale about stupid people. Pomni never though of putting a bucket over kinger's head and ask him serious question until episode 8, nobody tried to get information from the outside when someone new came in, nobody tried to actually talk with caine to figure things out, if the cast was intelligent they would have let Jax abstract alone the moment he started acting like a jerk, the entire show works only because the people in it are stupid, otherwise they have no stakes and no objective, it's essentially a reality show with no winner.
>>43987186Bad people are evil. Especially BPDemons
>>43987697>if the cast was intelligent they would have let Jax abstract alone the moment he started acting like a jerkyes anon, intelligent people are all cold hearted monsters, now get back to bed
>>43987769Not him but keeping an outright and constantly harmful person around is retarded. And no, suffering because of your choice to do so doesn't make you a good person. You are not a martyr. You are a moron.
>>43987769you're trapped in a digital prison with someone that not only is not collaborating, but is actively sabotaging the group, a normal person would ostracize that fucker immediately while working to find a way out or at least answers. Jax could have been the perfect antagonist if the show was good.
>>43987714No people are complicated, your probably speaking out of anger due to someone that hurt you. I've been there I understand l.
>>43987769this is like keeping a harmful retarded person screeching around hurting others while cast away in a deserted island, you would at the very least tie him to a tree
>>43987387>Humanity should declare war on their greatest victims of childhood abuse, assault and neglect
>>43987792Your friends keep you around? Are they retarded?
>>43987793>>43987807yeah restrain him but like>LET HIM DIE IMEDIATLYlet's be real that's not what you would actually do if you were in that situation
>>43987186I hate that the story turned out to be just about Jax being trans and never resolved anything else, I miss the pilot episode and the potential it showed.
>>43987809Yeah that guys post comes off as some hurt by an ex. I'm sympathetic to BPD havers, their often as much victims of their bad life choices as the people they hurt. But.....they do love to use trauma as an excuse and sheild, or lies about trauma even. Your post sort of radiates that vibe.
>>43987446so do angry /tttt/ edgelord reppers and moders kind of have a mascot now? idk it’s just the first time i’ve seen a character like this
>>43987868Sorry, I didn't mean to come off that wayI know some can, also I meant upbringing more than later life choices caused by such
>>43987818I would ostracize him until he started behaving, if he became even more annoying I would try to trap him/restrain him somewhere, if getting isolated from the group made him abstract I wouldn't care, he deserved it. I guess I'm just bitter we didn't get a proper survival/horror show and instead became about feelings, to me it's just unrealistic that people trapped in a digital prison would prioritize emotions and act like that, it gave me the same feelings "the thing" remake/prequel had, I hoped at least the final episode would have had some kind of plot and the character acting reasonably, instead we got a 15 minutes Jax therapy session that was useless because he already died anyway.
>>43987794>You should keep me around even though I constantly cause you harm because I have issues uwuNo. You hurt people. The reason doesn't excuse you.
>>43987914I think it's good for what it is. a version of the story that doesn't treat the setting as more of a framing device than anything would quickly become psychological horror
>>43987916>>43987714why is there a small subset of this board terminally obsessed with bpdemons
>>43987697I'm going to be real I didn't really treat the series that seriously I just enjoyed the episodes as they came out and didn't read too hard into it. I'm a weirdo that cares more about what the creator was trying to get at and any interesting ideas they had than the real execution of the writing and I've never seen a character like jax before on the topic of gender dysphoria so I thought it was refreshing and unique. it very close to home for me and I wasn't really expecting it as I was watching so I'm probably very biased in how much I enjoyed the finale.
>>43987956Because people with BPD are insane, toxi, demonic scum who cause nothing but suffering.
>>43987961I keep hearing this talking point and feel insane like I'm the only person that watches a story for the story, the fact that more and more "character driven" shows come out reinforces that. I just want a good story that makes sense dammit, if I want a generic setting for drama there's already real life, I want to experience a different world, not therapy.
>>43988036what do you want in a story?
>>43987186I can relate to jaxx being grumpy all the time, I must seem grumpy and intimidating, but it's really because I am angry that I am not a woman.
>>43988060adventure, clashes, travel, I'm not against character drama but it doesn't have be an end in itself but rather a device for the plot, like, what was the purpose of the entire inside-the-abstracted-jax scene in the finale? He was laready dead, Pomni couldn't do anything about it, it didn't lead to anything, it was pure fanservice, a proper story would have used the information given during that portion to drive things forward.
>>43987186Yeah, that's literally why I like the character. I am indeed a bad person and its probably a bad thing that I can really relate to jax
>>43988120you should fix that and stop accepting this part of you
>>43988036I know a lot of people are unhappy that the show started with the mystery and ended with therapy instead of resolving the original thing that drew people in. I personally have always preferred the more character based stories but for the rest of the audience that liked the finale maybe they just got won over by the characters as they were developed more over the series so by the end of it they were perfectly fine with letting the original plot to die for the sake of character drama, just my guess.
>>43988036good writers can mix therapy, character drama and proper story, Goose just isn't a good writer
>>43988128I cannot fix what has already transpired anon.
>>43988120From what i understand jax's character pulled a lot from the creator's actual early life struggle with gender dysphoria. So if the purpose of his entire plot is the creator trying to snap people out of the same shit they almost ruined their life doing I think that's something special that you should take to heart man.
>>43988156you can change how you treat others in the future.
>>43987989couldnt pay me to seethe this much
>>43988158Maybe now she should work on how shallow she truly is. I'm betting she would take out her problems on circus characters. As in the ugly or fat freaks of the world she appropriated most of her quirky lawl-so-random fake witch personality from. Oh well. She's obviously protected. Who the fuck am I but some burgerhon chewing my sour grapes.
>>43988189You are the BPD "friend" in your group.
>>43988240I think you're projecting your bitterness and assumptions onto an internet stranger you know nothing about anon.
>>43988139I just didn't care enough about the characters, expect maybe pomni, to like the finale, to make me care about fictional characters you need way more episodes while a good story can be told in 10 minutes
>>43987186i have no idea who jax is
>>43988357nothing wrong with not liking it man, there's plenty of popular media I absolutely fucking hate. and yeah there's a good chance I wouldn't have fucked with it if they didn't happen to include a character arc that felt like it was made for me personally so maybe I'm full of shit anyway
>>43988349I think you're projecting your assumptions that I'm projecting. People like her are a literal dime a dozen assembly line who stumbled upon the weirdo dens populated by social outcasts and only survived due to being attractive to the white knights. Simps she would never fuck even when they worship the very ground some emo twink walks on. 4chan, second life, high pop discords. You can find them everywhere and I've seen it all. So many ogres and trolls who will use her and groom others to live vicariously through since most old ugly fatsos don't actually like other old ugly fatsos. But they also don't want to be alone and many still remember how lonely and bottom of the barrel the 90's was.
>>43987186>It's ok to be like this, jax is like this I don't need help accept me as I am, I'm just mental ill teeheedid we watch the same show? bro pushed away everyone who cared about him and killed himself instead of trooning.
>>43987186there is no medication for bpd
>>43988505Who are you even talking about
>>43988591Wtf are you even talking about? Are you slow?
>>43988631Your text is just babble about a literal who
>>43988103ok that's just genre taste lol
>>43987619nigga who?
>>43987769you lost mental illnessanny
>>43988553bpd is what happens when you interrupt darwinism with medical science and liberal democracy
>>43988649It's okay to just say you're a bit dumb. We all are or else we wouldn't be here.
>>43988757I recognise the phenomenon he's talking about, I just don't see how its relevant to this thread
>>43988703I mean what even do you want me to answer, I just like good stories, I have preferences but as long as it has a good story I like it, tadc wasn't the case, it's a character driven show with monodimentional characters and no plot that was just an excuse for Goose to talk about her transition.
How do I get a Jax girlfriend as a chaser
>>43987186jax literally KILLS HIMSELF idt you can get any more blatant about how the way he acts is pretty bad
>>43987874yah, character was written by a previously angry /tttt/ user as basically a self insert
jax kills himself and the ppl i knew irl who most resembled jax also killed themselves. But also, jax is a self-insert of goose if she did everything wrong. you don't have to be jax and you don't have to kill yourself. it doesn't have to be that way. you can make friends and make a tv show together instead.
god im gonna watch this and this jax person is gonna be teenage me isnt it (proto incel jackass, but girls pursue me)
>>43990700It's more like Pomni and Zooble are just trying not to lose any more humans, band Jax's behavior strains their nobody left behind mindset.
>>43987387>>43987714>>43987868>>43987989>>43988553why is anyone talking about bpd? have you ever interacted with a person who has bpd? they're hard to be around but that doesn't mean it stands for "bad person disorder"i know three and none of them are like jax lol, jax unironically has too much emotional stability for bpd. you never see him dooming uncontrollably or venting off emotions with no filter like the people on this board. even for an armchair diagnosis he's more like avoidant + antisocial
>>43987186This board is less psychotic than it used to be. There is plenty of room to get more psychotic.
>>43987411purple bunny dishwasher
>>43987186If people like that, the loud minority btw, can't see how the show is basically taking a flaming sticky black dump all over jax for the way he behaves, they were never going to be normal anyway. They're determined to remain rotten cunts and no amount of sincerity posting will help
>>43987956BPDemon haters are a recognizable demographic because BPDemons have a consistent pattern of behaviour that earns our hate. I sincerely hope you never have to become one of us.
>>43992762you're coping if you think the other schizophrenic replying to me is a product of that
