Sex was about the only reason I tolerated it which kinda just made me feel dirty in retrospect. Everyone in the more popular circles are so fake, preformative, and nasty toward the outcasts trying to just belong it was pretty depressing and exhausting. I was much happier chilling with other down to earth people and smoking weed compared to the antisocial environments those scenes encouraged.
