Every single thread and poster tells me over and over and over to stop repping and NOT A SINGLE ONE address the actual bottleneck, the single determining factor of passability: voice Literally no one on this entire board will explain voice training to me. I dont have a PhD in voice training and I dont have thousands of dollars for lessons or surgery. No voice = no pass = no transition = no life
there are THOUSANDS of online resources about this to help you. completely free. a google or youtube search away. stop moving goalposts to try and convince yourself to keep running away from who you are
>>43997353voice training is genuinely just forcing yourself to do as close to a woman's voice for hours a day until eventually it naturally does that. there's no explanation for it because it's entirely vibes. also you can always mutemode
>>43997353Literally just watch YouTube videos it's not that hardI'm still not 100% passing but that's only because I'm lazy and my appearance instantly clocks me anywayCustomer service jobs are a good opportunity for practice
voice is the easiest thing
>>43997353if you can't figure it out with the voice training resources on the internet (there are a lot if you look) ive heard learning to sing is a good way to get a passable voice
>>43997370Are you telling me to get a customer service job as a man, interview as a man, show up as a man, then try to do a girl voice on the phone?? Ill get fucking fired >>43997393I have a good male singing voice it has done nothing to help me sound female
>>43997405No I mean transition and be a voicehon, go in with some progress made, and refine it through interaction with customers.
>>43997353look at this>>43997363literally the only way to do it is to just start speaking in your best impression of what a woman sounds like, and then refine it over time. Surgery and training can prepare you but you still have to take that step, even though you might feel like you sound like an idiot
>>43997353seriously. I think voice training is mega cope, I have yet to hear a masculine before paired with a passing after. I think its just herms and youngshits psyopping lateshits into being hons (for laughs)
>>43997353unless you have a super deep voice, voice isnt that important, I never trained my voice isnt really androgynous, but people still tend to gender me female even after talking.
try practicing in public discord vcs or vrchat
>>43997353
>>43997363It won't naturally do that unless you already have the squeaker genes to sound that way to begin with. The only other way is FVS. I've had many trans women drop their preformative girl voice once they get comfortable enough around me because it's an active effort that becomes tiring. Don't lie to people. It doesn't help and will make people crash out with their training.
>>43997353The idea is changing the shape of your throat by closing off the male part of register and pronouncing everything back and up closer to the female area. Keep watching youtube videos until you find some exercises that help you go towards that direction. Note that you'll have to practice until your voice is fully capable of doing it so keep at it.Transvoicelessons is my goathttps://youtu.be/BW8X2nXexQs
>>43997793u first
>>43998008done
>>43997783We know "fagcent" and certain usernames = tranny and tranny = she/herIt's not hard to figure out, takes like 5 seconds
>>43997767wrong, here’s an examplehttps://youtu.be/2txYhkmhVts?t=75
>>43998055I'm talking about irl, and irl people usually are not so kind to treat trannies as she/her depending on where you are from
>>43997353i mean, i still haven't even tried voice trainingbut the most important part of transition is hrt. it stops masculinization, begins feminization (no matter how little you may get) and overall, takes a lot of time.you can start voice training at any time without any real negative impact, but every minute without hrt is worse for you>>43998094her videos are really good, but i couldn't use the voice training guide. she is way too high iq for me
>>43997353You can just look it up on youtube, there are a lot of tutorials there, like trans voice lessons for example. Personally I haven't even voice trained and I get gendered correctly, even on the internet. It's just more about your presentation, because my voice os masculine as fuck
>>43997353Like most of the other anons have said there's plenty of free guides/videos all over the internet, but personally I feel like the main thing to think about is the resonance of your voice. Try placing your hand over the upper part of your chest and speak in your "normal" voice and you'll feel the vibrations in your throat, the trick is to try to adjust your throat muscles so that the vibration moves upward, up towards the upper part of your neck if possible. Once you managed to do that you'll still need practice to maintain it consistently and control pitch and such, but that's the biggest hurdle imo. Also, I dunno if it will help but picrel is a goofy trick I found on 420chan way back in the day. You'll probably feel a bit silly doing it and it doesn't last long, but if you do it right it can at least give you some of idea of what you could potentially sound like with proper practice.
>>43998286>she is way too high iq for meNO SHE ISN'T JUST THINK FAGGOT!! YOU WON'T GET EVERYTHING FIRST TRY JUST KEEP TRYING UNTIL YOU GET IT AND STOP QUITTING CAUSE ITS UNCOMFORTABLE NOT GETTING IT RIGHT AWAY GRAAAAHHHHHHH
>>43997393This. After learning to control my voice I realized I also got better at singing. It makes sense when you think about it...
The most important part of your voice is your mannerism, not your pitch. There are cis ladies out there that have deeper voices than my man voice and are still perceived as feminine.
u dont need to pass 100%. i have the same brain worms u do. i look good i'm 5'5 i'm very skinny hrt did me really good but i look like a skinny skater kid if i'm not presenting fem. i'm telling u going into queer bars and clubs its pretty comfortable. talking to cis people is really comfortable for me. my whole life i read this board like crazy crying and coping because my hips were too narrow my shoulders are too broad my ribs are too masculine but honestly i look decent enough not how i want to look but its sort of idfk tolerable. but being in those environments i'm attractive enough to get along with men and women. people who i thought were completely out of my league have really hit it off with me. and my hypergamist mind brain rotted off of this board u already know i'm trying to talk to men and women that are conventionally attractive enough to be models. i quit porn but my brain is still really porn rotted and it fucking sucks. i like guys that are super tall. i like girls that have huge titties that are super short and skinny. i like girls with septum piercings. all the stupid ass shit that gooners like. i'm telling u i dont voice train like crazy i kinda just have a fag voice but it works out for me. people like me because im me. u can live a fulfilling life being visibly transgender.
>>43998543i have tried, my muscles just don't work like that :c
>>43997353girl, Im a baritone and can reliably hit the whole alto range. Practice speaking, practice singing, just get over yourself and fucking practicethere are tons of resources to get yourself started from transvoicelessons and fairyprincesslucy on youtube to hiring an actual vocal coach or taking a class at your local college
>>43997822>The idea is changing the shape of your throat by closing off the male part of register and pronouncing everything back and up closer to the female areathat's actually really succinctly put, good post
>>43998611>5'5Not that tranny but this is like being 6'8 with a 15 inch cock telling incel timmy that getting pussy is easy
>>43998761kitty...
>>43997363This, it's just shadowing. It's how people learn to do other accents or to pronounce foreign languages correctly.
>>43997353Just go to speech therapy, start practicing with youtube videos, record yourself and listen back to it, join a discord voice training community. You can have a passing voice within 6 months to a year.
>>43997353I can help, got a discord?
>>43999853I'll post if you're still around when I'm off work
bump
>>43997353I never trained my voice and sometimes I get mistaken for my sister on the phone. You can pass as a woman with PCOS.
