Its just the opposite, from what I can tell most people who call themselves non-binary do so because they hold similar views to transphobes, they just come to different conclusions.
Perhaps its different for you, but all the self-proclaimed enbies I've encountered say they identify as such because they don't align with the "social construct" of their birth sex, even though they're generally comfortable with their body's sex characteristics. That is to say, they just don't think they fit with sexist stereotypes, what most people would just call gender nonconformity.
That misunderstanding of trans issues also extends to how they see binary trans people, basically meaning that if they think

I know plenty of non-binary types will be genuinely supportive of transsexuals within that framework, but if it comes from a place of just seeing us as glorified crossdressers I still think its perpetuating a harmful misunderstanding of the issue, just look at how so many non-binary artists love to portray trans women as fat hairy bearded dudes in dresses and think its somehow a positive thing. Some will go so far as to repeat outright terf rhetoric, saying that gender dysphoria has nothing to do with a person's body and if we could "abolish gender" then there would be no reason for anyone to seek medical transition.
If OP or any other self-proclaimed enbies have a different understanding of the issue then I'm genuinely open to hearing it.
