Another recc for Yume Nikki fans is Picayune Dreams.
Gameplay-wise its like a vampire survivors bullet heaven that becomes a bullet hell for bossfights. really fun
but its also got really abstract surreal imagery as well as dream sections inspired by yume nikki

i like em, they're fairly short. the first game is a bit more abstract and it only took like 30 min, the second i got all endings in 3 hours.

subahibi is non-linear story about a group of teenagers becoming delusional as the world was predicted to end in the summer of 2012. everything sort of revolves around bullying and every characters' self-image is broken in a different way. it's a bit difficult to get through especially if you haven't played many other visual novels.
