Trooning didn't solve all of my problems. But it did solve two main ones: suddenly I could get people to acknowledge that I exist and I also liked myself slightly more (but not by much). These two were enough to get me going to socialize and become functional. Now I'm planning my own wedding.
Sure, i'm not 'trutrans' but w/e. Existing as socially female has solved a few important things for me so i'll just keep rolling with it.
