>>44023584Species dysphoria is not the same as gender dypshoria and both can coexist at the the same time, species dysphoria is not as simple as just wanting to be a dog, it's more self hatred for being born a human instead of an animal, despite the obvious disadventages, some people with species dysphoria feel they don't belong in the human species perhaps because of mental illness, neurodivergency or because you feel you don't fit with humans because you're too "different" so you end up feeling like you're an animal instead, you wish to have been born an animal, you imagine what your would have been if you were an animal.
