>>44034576the chapter 5 hate is so forced. it makes a ton of sense why it is the way it is when you consider it was supposed to release alongside 3 and 4.3 and 4 introduce new mysteries: the tail of hell/friend, egg man lore, dessapearance, etc. if 3, 4, and 5 released together, and 5 actually explained these mysteries, then you would have mysteries set up and them immediately resolved just like that. which is why chapter 5 doesn't do that, it gives context but doesn't give any definitive answers. the only valid complaint is that the flowers had too much screentime and asgore didn't have enough.

>>44034869the problem is that the pacing is all off, 5 and 4 should have been switchedit feels like the characters forgot all the prophecy stuff and the titan from 4 and it just went back to a comfy filler adventure where nothing happened, the story should be approaching the climax but there's still literally no information about anything revealed. On its own it's a good chapter, but it feels like just another episodic release that doesn't move the plot anywherealso toby's yuri fetish is totally sabotaging the characters, suselle is boring and it feels like kris is getting endlessly cucked for no reason. Maybe there will be some cathartic resolution, but it just doesn't feel like it's going in that direction
