I don't know. When I came out I was excited because I thought maybe the reason I always felt excluded from social groups was because I didn't fit in with straight people. But I don't fit in with the cool queer kids either. I'm just weird and outputting.

You're asking the society of friendless niggas... how to make friends.

this does the job you just have to put yourself in the right places. making friends is hard for everyone in the modern day but if you pick a spot (like the library) or if you’re particularly into a music scene or hobby scene you can go to a couple shows or go to the same kinda event or go to the same location every week on the same day around the same time after a couple weeks of sorta awkwardness you’ll be able to spot people that are regularly there and talk to them based on your presumed common interest and they likely know of more spaces for you to try these same tactics at. i made all my friends by going to the same place at the same time each week and just scoping out who i thought was cool, then smoke a cigarette outside and approach someone who’s alone and seems cool.. that person who’s alone is probably either just like u and doesn’t have many friends and struggles to talk to new people or you’ll find a person who is super comfortable in that space (a regular or veteran of their craft whtvr based on where u are) who can tap you more into the scene youre in or you can learn something from them :D i really hope this helps nona it makes me sad to see trannys alone because i isolated for a long time before transitioning and after but i really came out of my shell after learning how to make friends

I live in a red state, ill get beat to death if i leave my house

contrary to popular belief the lgbt scenes in red states ARE there, they’re just more tightly knit and it might be more difficult to find them. consider going to a live local punk band, the music may suck but there will be a lot of trannys there just don’t bring the self hating bs or nobody will like you

I like going to concerts but i always feel weird going out especially by myself ive never met anyone. The last show i went to i left early cause a guy there who was clearly fucked up started groping on me and i freaked out. I like going to the movies a lot, i go to the theatre anytime i can

i moved and ive been a very isolated and lonely adult since. i just gotta stop being a pussy and go play cards or something every week
>>
>>44032789
You like texas hold em nona?
I fucking love poker
>>
>>44032779
im sorry you had to deal with that nona :( it can be really scary going out to places you’ve never been alone especially stuff like that happening doesn’t make it any easier. the movie theater could be good! my local one has an arcade and bar inside so u could try hanging around there or in the hall before/after the movie instead of straight to the movie and home :0
