how can anyone love anyone? i don't think anyone can ever really know another person. his last partner was blindsided and betrayed when the allegations against him came out. they knew parts of him, the parts of himself he shared with them, but they didn't know all of him. many people long for people they can't have, but how many of those people really know the person they're longing for? if he was a cashier that i only talked with when i bought groceries, and i fell in love with him because of those interactions, would that change the dynamic of my infatuation at all? i would still be pining for someone i don't really know. i don't think his status as an e-celeb changes much in this specific context. he's an interesting person and his personality and artwork is/was very magnetic to many people. his last partner fell in love with him after auditioning to be a voice actor in his project. they saw what he had shared of himself and felt compelled by it. they started a relationship with him as a fan. i love him because his art has impacted me positively, very positively, to the point i would say it has saved my life multiple times. i believe his existence is a net positive in this world. i believe the world would be worse place without him. how couldn't i love a person like that?
