Still feel bad about this, he was a cool dude but his dialect was hard for me to understand as a kid so I felt shy about talking to him. So, it was like the one day I decided to dress more queer and I happened to be clean shaven, and yeah when I showed up that was more or less the vibe.

But he'd known me when I was a kid, and my family has always had gender non-conforming people in it, so he probably didn't think too hard about it especially since I arrived with my sister.
(My aunt might even be a ftm repper but she's too old and hates men and women too much to realize it)

It definitely would've gone differently if I had facial hair because even if he still recognized me there would've been more confusion or maybe he just wouldn't have recognized me idk.
