When Super Mario world game out, everyone played it.The decline of gaming mirrors the way in which society is fractured. Previously everyone watched the same things, consumed the same media. There was still choice, but the collective was still there. Now you can have two people who do nothing but game for the past 10 years, and theres a chance neither has ever played the same game. Its the same with tv shows, and celebrities, there are people making music, 80m followers, ive never even heard of them.I think this reflects the loss of shared destiny we have as a species. Its now everyone for themsleves. Mike Pondsmith created Cyberpunk in the 1980s, back then it was one guy standing up to the mega corp. Think Luke Skywalker taking down the Empire. Thats gone now. Now the corps won, the Enpire won. Pondsmith now says cyberpunk isnt about saving humanity, its about saving yourself. Wise words for the real world too. Also, sure as long as you enjoy me communating via touch

I cut my teeth on online gaming with it. Made a lot of friends playing it on old forums like DS-Play.com. Played a ton of Metroid Prime Hunters, Jump Ultimate Stars, Club House Games, Tetris DS, and Star Fox Command online. The Nintendo WiFi era was phenomenal.
