Sometimes, there are rping threads on 4chan, /qst/ is one of them. Other than that, there are erp threads, mainly on /trash/. Gone are the good old irc days where you could just hop into a channel then greentext with another frog - discord is far more censored and far less anonymous.
If you want a touch of what it was, try /g/aicg/ with an eastern model - deepseek or glm. Even they need context and foreplay - lest they get censored. And I mean brick wall censored.
