I became her friend before I knew how she felt. She's been nothing but absolutely wonderful to me. The only reason I know is because when the trans swimmer was in the news or lilly tino or dylan mulvaney she would complain about it to our friend group and all my other girlfriends would agree and me as well. I don't believe trannies should be in sports and I believe only passing trans should be in women's bathrooms/changing rooms. I think I have a nuanced view on sports inclusion; I would agree that higher level sports should be segregated but I would take issues with trans inclusion at the lower grad school level sports as at that level it's about building social ties rather than pure competition.
I think the bathroom concerns are very stupid because it’s not going to stop predators from doing the things they do. If one is there to use the facility for what their for it’s obvious, being upset about how someone else looks is very small minded and a bad excuse for exclusionary behavior.

sigh, regardless of what I think... I'm still at the point in my transition that I'm not using women's restroom even though I pass as visibly trans.
