/lgbt/, do you consider yourself woke? I made a poll: https://strawpoll.com/e7ZJaMWPBg3I've been lurking /lgbt/ since 2017 or 2018, but I have always been fairly woke save for a lot of self loathing that bleeds into other people like me.I'm noticing a trend that people here have mellowed quite a bit throughout the years. Is it the popularity /tttt/ has gained on Twitter and Reddit or something?Weirdly enough I'm fairly edgy in all other circles, but this place is so miserable that any time I've posted here I've been encouraging people. I act my best self here of all places.
>>44099384as a centrist I can not be woke, purely on deffinintion.
>>44099400Yeah, woke has a pretty strict definition.I think by 4chan standards if you're not racist or misogynist you can qualify.
>>44099384No. I'm a Nazi
>>44099384I am progressive on just about everything but it's difficult not to be racist. I can't call myself woke because I actively avoid non-white people.I think it's completely logical that we should allow abortions but I hate women so much.
>>44099628>I hate women so muchWhy? I usually can infer why, but the pooner flag makes me think it's for a different reason.
>>44099692They treat men unfairly and are massive hypocrites. Most of them are also pretty boring compared to men.
>>44099384NIGGER
I'm far left but I'm the sort of person that the "woke" types would call a "brocialist" or "class reductionist".I feel like a lot of the problems with "wokeness" have been highlighted in the past few years by the way Israel attempts to use it in defense of its ongoing genocide and apartheid, with things like standpoint theory nonsense and pinkwashing and such. Its also been interesting seeing the whole "woke 1.0 vs woke 2.0" discourse where many people seem to acknowledge that it was a problem but refuse to just ditch the label for some reason.
