In current day I think the word pooner is pretty hostile and derogatory to trans men specfically and can't really be reclaimed, the only reason people here sorta try is to seem like it doesn't bother them and complaining about it just brings in more harassment. You can reappropriate Tranny pretty easily because it just refers to the entirety of a trans (contextually usually fem) person, but Pooner specfically sucks because it's reduction to genitals.

It's much easier for me to disregard it then try to claim it because then I would just look even more feminine to the people already trying to mock and discriminate against me for my birth sex.

I think the amount of suffering, isolation, and self destruction amab people go through mentally is pretty foreign to most afab people, especially if amab people use that as a basis/excuse to tear other people down. To them, and a lot of people broadly, 4chan just seems like kind of a wasteland and if not that intentional torture.

(Which like, it is because this site is actively hostile to trans people even amongst ourselves, but people express suffering very honestly here which I appreciate seeing and reflecting on)

4chan has always been male dominated. the MtF here are just male nerds/incels who decided to switch teams. FtM women have real lives.
