Do you think effeminate gay men are born with "that voice"?
nobody seems to question the innateness of genetic-female-expressed feminine behaviors and expressed traits
>>44147302they aren't at all they go through like gaymorphosis. i grew up with multiple gay kids and one by one they gained gay accent on the first day of school
No and there is plenty of research into this already
>>44147648I wonder who would fund such research.
>>44147302not all of them but some of them are born with speech impediments and end up effeminate gays because of how they are treated by others for having fag voice
"That voice" is just female affectation in a male register.
>>44147302my ex bf had the voice but he was raised by a single mother. weird thing is his sister sounded like a dyke so i dont know how that happened.
>>44147302OK like this is pretty fucking simple actually.Men and women, straight and gay, have to learn how to talk somewhere. Not just what words to use or even how to use them, but how these words are said, what body language accompanies the, as well as body language in general. They usually model this on older people they see around them, but how do they decide whether to talk like mom or dad? Some kids innately pick model speakers of their own gender, some don't and must be reprimanded until they "get it right." Some kids won't stop cross-gender behavior no matter what you tell them. I think this really is mostly instinctive for almost all straight, cis children, but for whatever reason, even just being gay seems to complicate it. Gay boys, whether they realize or not, talk like that because of a series of women (and feminine men) who talked like that, who they wanted to sound like on a conscious or subconscious level. So for them, this phenomenon causes them to talk like a stereotypical faggot. And sometimes they turn out to be trannies instead.
>>44148461oh and this too, forgot but there are actually a lot of gay guys who don't really talk like that until they get a gay friend group, so once again it's just your typical imprinting and social pressure
>>44147302It’s a social contagion
>>44148505nona how do you think ideas and behaviors are ever transmitted through society?
