i'm gonna skin myself alive guys it's not even funny anymore.Do people really have souls? I'm not sure if i can identify these that around me not as skinwalkers.I think I'm gay. I thought about that when I lived in a more open-minded country (even though it still punishes gay people severely for existing). now I came back to my unrecognised pseudo state and can't even look in people's eyes anymore. you know when you look at a newborn babies and their gaze is totally soulless, devoid of any comprehension of their surroundings? that's what I see in grown people around me. It's not even a question if they accept me as a gay person, it's a question if we as a species are born physiologically the same: is western oriented view of genetic determinism wrong? what if we really are not the same, some people are born with a gift of mind and others are just born to be goy cattle?i don't think i'll have the nerve to come out to my parents.sorry for bad english i fucking hate this language
getting molested is what gives people souls
>>44164912no one has a soul. i believe the reason why you see the people in your community as 'missing' something may be that they are complacent with systems you recognize to be harmful. this does not mean they are less than human, but rather reflects a siloed, tradition-based understanding of the world as opposed to an active, thoughtful understanding.
>>44164967I totally see some disagreement with current state of things in my home country. We're in a deep economic and energy collapse since the war in Ukraine made impossible for Russia to export gas and oil to our unrecognized state. It's just that them showing this discomfort doesn't look like a civil society engaging in a debate about political state of their country with their representatives. It more looks like trained helplessness: we don't have any protests (and never had), people just died in hospitals during winter because heating systems weren't working all winter. nobody tried to hide it, everyone knew, but nobody cared. all of our main factories that produced goods on export are closed, people don't have any jobs, and the remaining jobs pay around 200$ to 300$, and we don't even have low prices. there are no working unions even though we have a communist past (and the war for our independence was caused because our people wanted to remain in this communist system).I mentioned the political side of the problem because I think it's an example of how people here are passive and pro status-quo in their lives. How can I get even a little bit of comprehension from them about me being gay and confront their beliefs on sexual life when even my really basic fashion sense gets them all aggressive because it confronts with their siloed sense of a typical menswear vs womanswear (keep in mind, I don't even dress like a faggot, I don't do make up, I don't wear skirts or any other women's clothes)
