You could definitely lose weight if you wanted, but I'm worried you don't have enough muscle on your legs to keep your proportions. What I mean is, if you lose significant weight you'll get smaller, but your legs might go as well.

Muscle gain occurs slowly over very long periods of time, so it's not about doing a thousand squats one day and resting the whole week to recover. The main differences are torso length and thighs the latter of which you can absolutely improve on through weight gain / pio / exercise. Her legs are proportionally longer than yours but I'm not sure why that is a point of insecurity all things considered.

The idea is to gain lean mass in your legs/hips/butt, so that when you reduce overall bodyfat, your legs/hips/butt remain roughly the same size while your upper body gets smaller, thus making ur proportions more feminine/lower body heavy. I agree with the other anon though, your starting point already looks pretty foided out. The "stark" difference you see probably simply comes from that woman being veeeery, very skinny.

It's just a lot harder to grow them with exercises that don't incorporate your quad muscles, but you can still do it.
