Chasm City (spinoff of the revelation space novels) one of the MCs is casually revealed in a passing line to be originally male but medical tech is so advanced it doesn't matter

transhumanism is a big theme in those novels and most scifi I enjoy in general

i didnt like the ink though and i didnt really like how they wrote her character

but orions are a pretty shallow thing anyways i guess; the slave girl race with the big reveal that its actually the other way around
