The tipping point for me is that he reads Yuri enough to label him for it. I've met some dudes who could appreciate the human struggle and beauty in like, Bloom into You, but it's not as if they go off and read a ton more Yuri after that. They're just open minded and like a good love story.
If they're constantly reading new Yuri and have like, actual tastes and preferences in the genre, then yeah that's 99.9% of the time going to be a future tranny.
