Although I highly doubt there would be any on this board. But how much does it suck being intersex? I read about, it must absolutely fucking suck. Curious about finding out more.
>>44226819Life sucks for everybody, it’s best not to look at the suffering of others as a means to find pleasure. :(
>>44226819We've had intersex gens in the past but I dont know if the intersex anons are around. Intersexuality is quite broad so for some people it may suck massively, and for others not. I'll probably never know for sure what I am but I've had some annoying health issues even on the "lighter" end of it. Socially it depends a lot on what you look like. For me it has lead to, and continues to lead to, many questions from others. Complete strangers can feel perfectly comfortable asking me about my genitals or suggesting I get surgery, for example. I am very used to people, doctors included, wanting to change me into whatever form they prefer.
>>44226819I don't really care about it anymore. I have Klinefelter Syndrome (47, XXY) and all it's done has pushed me into trooning out. It's pretty common and a lot of people have it, so I feel a lot better about being less of a freak.
>>44226819I had an intersex bf for a while. Nothing was different about him besides his dick. It didnt seem to effect his life much
>>44226819I'm not intersex, but my girlfriend is. She takes prednisone and it keeps her hormone levels more stable. You couldn't tell at all by looking at her. She's told me it made her childhood really hellish but as an adult it hasn't affected her and she doesn't mind it anymore
Originally I hated what being intersex did to my body, but then later when I transitioned it turned into a huge benefit.
>>44226819My temptation is to say it wasn't all that bad. but I think that's because I know other people have had it way worse. That and because it's hard to articulate without getting deep into storytelling with someone. A lot of memory is just gone but some stories have survived. One weird small thing is I developed kind of a bi-directional complex about my voice. I went through most of my life self-conscious about sounding like a child. Then I trooned out, managed to convince myself my voice *did* drop, then I spent three years or so walking around thinking I sounded like Ben Shapiro. I did not, not at all, but it took a long time to accept it.
>>44226819>But how much does it suck being intersex?>Everyone looks at you like you are disordered.>If you try to explain to them how your body works or what you are, they lack the foundational knowledge of sex development to understand. Even most queers have no ability to understand this part. >Almost every intersex community is just a bunch of larping trans people/fetishists/schizos. >Almost every other intersex person you meet or try to befriend also turns out to be larping trans people/fetishists/schizos. >Medical system is not set up for you.>Bathrooms are not set up for you.>Identification documents are not set up for you.>Society is not set up for you.>Basically don't exist legally or have to perform a part you inherently don't fit and change yourself to fit into the system, just to participate in necessary aspects of day-to-day life. >People constantly try to debate you on your existence or on transgender people's existence, even if you have said nothing about transgender people/aren't talking about them >Dating prospects outside of queer dating pool is nearly impossible unless you alter your body and perform a part that doesn't fit (unless you have extremely mild intersex traits).>Jobs are a nightmare>Pronouns are a nightmare>Anything to do with "gender" is a nightmare>Everyone expects you to have a "gender identity" and "preferred pronouns" because they default to transgender frameworks for intersex people, even though we are dealing with SEX rather than GENDER >Queer community acts like you are a terf bigot for straying from the script and daring to talk about sex instead of gender (because "sex" triggers the dysphorics, so we must cater to them at all times even at our expense)>Insecure dysphorics/trannies hear you are intersex and start trying to identify with you and liken their experiences to yours as a means to feel like they're intersex, then get mad when you tell them they aren't
>>44230756>Almost every other intersex person you meet or try to befriend also turns out to be larping trans people/fetishists/schizos.not intersex but i agree this is so odd and all over the online trans community, seemingly 90% of people who claim to be intersex on twitter are self-dx'd with a very mild condition so they can then claim to be an "intersex trans woman" if afab. conversely i once saw a theymab get called out for being an annoying ftfemboy chaser and then respond by claiming to be an "intersex transfemmasc"
>>44230820They turn manipulative and find a way to make YOU the bad guy for calling them out, and almost every "queer space" will blame you for starting problems/"gatekeeping"/"identity policing"/whatever if you question anyone or push back against someone blatantly lying. You will be silenced/banned/resented while the larper is comforted and accepted. I had someone tell me they were sooooo into DIY and such a huge advocate of it, and that they even karyotyped themself. Later they were put on the spot when someone said oh so and so karyotyped themself, maybe they can tell you how! And the troon pulled out a PDF meant for an actual lab and said oh yeah I did this and I uhhh used a salad spinner as a centrifuge. A salad spinner will never get enough RPMs to separate cells like that........... They also used variations of hermaphrodite for their username and had really doubled down on the intersex/hermaphrodite identity larp.
>>44230855these people are all over when i was in high school a lesbian i was mutuals with on twitter self diagnosed with pcos so she could change her bio to intersex trans woman and I dmed her like yo bro are you being fr right now and she changed it back instantly
>>44230855>oh yeah I did this and I uhhh used a salad spinner as a centrifuge. >A salad spinner will never get enough RPMs to separate cells like that...........Also with this, their entire claim for how they were able to see they were an XX/XY chimera is that they couldn't see any Y chromosomes in the sample. Which makes no sense, when they are claiming to be XX/XY. But you are not allowed to question or doubt these people publicly, or you will be kicked our of The Queer Community. Also protip: anyone saying they are an XX/XY chimera is almost always lying. >>44230872> dmed her like yo bro are you being fr right now and she changed it back instantlyWe need more people doing that. This type of shit gotten really bad in the last 5-10 years, meanwhile the knowledge about intersex people remains completely abysmal among the queer community despite more and more queer people talking about intersex people and claiming our existence justifies their desires.
