44232203I kind of don't like the naming scheme either. I don't see myself as a woman on the inside or anything like that. I'm pretty sure many trans women don't fully believe they're legit women either. I may slightly think, "I'm such a girl, goddamnit, why do I look male?" on some nights. But I'm definitely not female, nor can I ever be. I'm just very different from girls, inherently, both biologically and socially.I think the problem with the "HRT femboy" name is that they basically do the exact same thing as trans women: take HRT, dress fem, maybe get FFS. So I guess trans women seeing something that's basically the same as them but still says they're male is annoying.It's not really porn brain. If there were a less loaded term, I'd be using it. We are not taken seriously, and I believe that the primary cause of that is the fact that the desire for beauty is still underrepresented and by most people treated as an excess and selfish act. This is disregarding the history that has led to us not being taken seriously, but transgender identity is still flawed and they have only ever served to lessen the fact for both of us. The act of desiring one's own beauty must represented as something grander than that.
