people with BPD (beautiful princess disease) have you ever heard voices? I recently found out that's a symptom for some people and I'm curious to hear experiences

Occasionally I’ll hear someone call my dead name. I usually keep quiet and unbothered and nothing happens then other times I’ll be completely alone or with people who don’t know my deadname and no one was around to have said it. The voice usually sounds like my mothers or a middle school computer class teacher I had.

they are not schizo, the voices are different from schizo voices. Its more like your internal thoughts become so "loud" that they are heard as a voice, it comes from inside your own head, not from somewhere out in the world.

Schizo people hear voices that seem to come FROM the external world, and the content is not emotion-congruent, they could be sad and hear a happy voice for instance or vice versa

I hear whispers occasionally. And yeah it's usually my name. I can't really place the voice but I have always felt it's feminine. I have heard full conversations during half asleep states. Always family. But I have way more visual hallucinations than audible ones.

Really depends on what you mean by you hear ‘voices’. I’m a diagnosed borderline alongside schizotypal so when mentioning hearing voices that were ‘outside’ rather than my loud internal thoughts it was a sign of something way more different (which led to the schizo diagnosis). Don’t immediately go to self diagnose but that’s pretty concerning

What is having BPD like?
>>
BPD is not cute, BPD is not "beautiful princess disease", BPD is not based and fembrained, BPD is not something to strive for, stop glorifying and enabling this mental disorder that ruins lives of people with it and everyone around them
>>

how are they enabling it THO
>>
>>44252246
yea usually when people move their mouths in a certain way i can hear voices and it varies a lot, crazy stuff

by glorifying it

It's difficult to handle emotions. I can over react of no real reason. I am rather narcissistic. My bf is a saint. I am constantly paranoid of social consequences (losing friends, respect ect).
>>44259371 true except no one enables that shit. Believe me you get shut down real fucking quick. And not in a healthy way.
>>44259460
The dumb cunts that larp it on here often use that as an excuse for shitty behavior is what that means. No one "enables it". It's generally something not even a psycho therapist can actually control. Typically what destroys relationships is the narcissistic behavior
